Connect Scalable Agentic Investing MCP
Turn on Agentic Investing in Scalable, then connect in Stonks — read-only holdings and watchlist for research, no orders.

What this connection is
Scalable Capital opened Agentic Investing so AI tools can talk to your broker through MCP (Model Context Protocol). Other assistants often ask you to paste https://mcp.scalable.capital/mcp. In Stonks you do not paste a URL. You authorize a read-only link: holdings and watchlist come in; orders stay in Scalable.
Before you connect
- Have a Scalable broker account.
- On the Scalable website, open Profile → Security and turn on MCP / Agentic Investing access. You can turn it off again there at any time.
- Sign in to Stonks Ask Terminal.
Scalable may ask for login and two-factor authentication.
Connect in Stonks
- Open Portfolio in the terminal.
- Choose Connect Scalable.
- Confirm the dialog (duplicates can appear if the same names are already in your book).
- Authorize Stonks at Scalable.
- Wait for the import to finish — positions land in Portfolio; Scalable watchlist names land in Watchlist.
Use Sync later to refresh. Disconnect removes only the Scalable-sourced rows.
What Stonks does not do
- Place buy/sell orders or savings plans
- Move cash
- Replace Scalable as your broker
Research stays in Stonks. Execution stays in Scalable.
Parqet at the same time
You can keep Parqet connected. Overlapping names may count twice — trim duplicates if that happens.
Prompts that use the book
- “Which of my holdings has the weakest margin trend?”
- “Where am I most concentrated by sector?”
- “What recent news matters for my largest Scalable position?”
Enable portfolio and watchlist context in Privacy settings so chat can see the import. Educational only — not investment advice.
